Frequently asked questions

What is on the Free plan?

Quotes, jobs, invoices, expenses and tax on your device, a small assistant allowance, and restoring your own data. It needs no card and does not run out. Free is capped at 10 quotes a month.

What do Pro and Team add?

Pro adds cloud sync, cloud backup, team keys, certificates and a full assistant allowance. Team adds the team roster, the audit log and a larger shared assistant allowance. You pay when you choose one of them; there is no trial.

What if I use my assistant allowance?

The assistant keeps working on a lighter model until the allowance resets. If you want the full assistant for longer, Pro and Team accounts can buy extra messages on this website as a one-off payment: 50 for £5, 130 for £12 or 285 for £25. They never renew, and unused messages stay on your account.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Payment is handled by Stripe, and your card details never reach us.

Will my price go up?

No. We will not increase the price of your subscription while it stays active. A price change applies to new subscriptions only. If you subscribe again later, change plan or switch between monthly and annual billing, the price on sale at that time applies.

Will you move features to a dearer plan?

No. A feature that is on your plan today stays on your plan. We will not move a feature from Free to Pro or Team, or from Pro to Team, after you have it. New features may start on Pro or Team. The only limits are the ones listed above: the Free quote cap, the assistant allowance, and what Pro and Team add.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel in one click, in the app under Settings or on this website, with no call or email to us. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to Free.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In the app, go to Settings. On this website, open Manage subscription, sign in with your email and password and press Cancel subscription. Renewal stops at the end of your paid period. There are no cancellation fees.

Do you warn me before a renewal charge?

Yes. Pro and Team renew automatically, monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose. Before every renewal we email you the date and the amount, with a link to cancel in one click before you are charged.

Will I be charged after I cancel?

No. If a charge still goes through on a subscription you have cancelled, we refund it in full automatically and email you to say so. A period that started before you cancelled is yours to use and is not refunded.

Does it work on mobile?

The phone is the whole point. Quote from the customer's hallway, book it into the diary, snap the receipt at the merchant's, take the card before you leave. It keeps working with no signal and catches up when you're back in range. It's an Android app today; iPhone is coming.

Can I export my data?

Yes. A whole tax year comes out as a printable P&L or a CSV your accountant can open, built from your real costs rather than just what you invoiced. It imports into accounting software including QuickBooks and Xero. Your data is always yours. Export it any time, even if you cancel.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds aren't offered for partial months, except where the law requires one, but you can use the Free plan for as long as you like before you pay for anything.
